What do people do at Coachella?

Beyonce is performing with a hundred dancers at Coachella.

It’s that time of year again: Coachella is just around the corner.

The Indio, California-based music event takes place over two weekends: April 13-15 and April 20-22.

But what is it?

Here’s all you need to know about Coachella, which takes place in Palm Springs every spring.

Who’s performing? The Weeknd, Beyoncé, and Eminem will play on both weekends of the event, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively. SZA and St. Vincent will perform on Friday, Haim and Post Malone will perform on Saturday, and Portugal. the Man and Cardi B will play on Sunday. (Sunday). Coachella’s website has a complete schedule.

Can I still buy tickets? No. At least not formally. Passes for both weekends, which went on sale on January 5, reportedly sold out within a few hours.

What do people do at Coachella? After the gates open at 11 a.m., performances will take place on several stages across the festival throughout the day. Large-scale art installations, a Ferris wheel, and cuisine from some of the country’s most famous restaurants, among other things, are available to participants.

Do people camp on the grounds? Yes, plus there are free showers, a barber shop, and a beauty salon for those who need to freshen up.

How can I watch from home? If you can’t make it to the desert this year, you can still watch certain shows live on YouTube throughout the first weekend of Coachella.

Highly Suspect, Portugal. the Man, St. Vincent, Alt-J, Vance Joy, Nothing But Thieves, Bleachers, Dreams, Haim, Marian Hill, Magic Giant, Odesza, X Japan, The Neighbourhood, and The War on Drugs will all perform live. The main concerts by Beyoncé and The Weeknd will also be live broadcast.
