The entire calendars for the Academic Division, UVA Health Clinic, and UVA Physicians Group are available below. Workday automatically populates your customized calendar with your exact holiday dates. The yearly holiday calendar schedules for the next year are published in the autumn.
Furthermore, Academic Division and Health System personnel may now download the complete year’s worth of holidays to your Outlook account by following these simple steps. Depending on your email or calendar program, the instructions may differ. If these don’t work, try a Google search for “adding an internet calendar to (your device/software here).” UVA Human Resources is unable to give technical assistance.

2023 Clinic Holiday Calendar
Holiday premium compensation is available to Medical Center team members who work on an authorized holiday. If you do not work on a holiday and your clinic is closed, you may get paid using your PTO. Refer to MC Comp Policy 401 for further details.

2023 UVA Physicians Group Holiday Calendar
In 2023, UPG will celebrate the following holidays. Employees who work 20 or more hours per week will get pro-rated holiday compensation based on their normal hours worked.

Please keep in mind that if you work in a patient care area or another area vital to company operations, you may be obliged to work on a holiday. In this case, your manager will meet with you to discuss holiday staffing needs.
