Efforts have been made to ensure easy access to Kullu. The travel time from Chandigarh to Kullu has been reduced from six hours to four hours. Furthermore, 13 out of fifteen tunnels are now open to commuters, which eases the journey. Tourists can also avail flights from Amritsar, Chandigarh, and Delhi to Kullu, making it even more convenient to attend the festival.
